Welcome and thank you for choosing to participate in the network of providers serving members of The Destiny Health Empowerment Plan. Destiny Health is committed to being recognized as more than a health benefits company: Destiny Health is a wellness company dedicated to working with you to improve the health of the individuals and communities we jointly serve. Destiny Health is equally committed to being recognized for delivering exceptional customer service to our members and their healthcare providers.

Destiny Health Provider Manual
This manual is a guide to the administrative procedures of Destiny Health. It contains information about the policies that concern providers participating with Destiny Health. The Provider Manual outlines the policies and procedures and other important information related to your obligations and administrative responsibilities under participation. Destiny Health will update this Provider Manual from time to time, and the most current version will be available on Destiny Health’s website.

Active Health Management
ActiveHealth Management (AHM) Corporation is a leading independent provider of health information management programs whose innovative technologies identify emerging medical conditions before high costs are incurred. AHM also helps identify members who are at-risk for chronic or serious health conditions and consults with them to plan appropriate treatment. The Destiny Health Provider Manual contains a list of disease conditions with AHM programs that can be accessed by Destiny Health members.

MedSolutions
MedSolutions, Inc. (MSI) works with health plans to help them control overall imaging cost and improve patient care. MSI serves over 11 million members with contracts in all 50 states.

Destiny Health has partnered with MSI to leverage their expertise. We believe that this partnership will achieve cost savings-for members, the plan and for employers, the high-tech diagnostic imaging procedures.

Through prior notification, MSI will steer members from high-cost imaging providers to lower cost, like-quality options which are usually stand-alone facilities with access to more cost effective radiology networks at discounted rates.

The tests affected by prior notifications are MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT (Computerized Tomography) and PET (Position Emission Tomography) scans, and Nuclear Cardiology studies.
